AUTHOR GUIDELINE

Pharmaceutical Care and Research (PCR) is an international peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing innovative, high-quality, and evidence-based research in pharmaceutical sciences, healthcare, biomedical sciences, and allied disciplines.

We welcome original manuscripts from researchers, academicians, healthcare professionals, and scholars in the following and related areas:

Types of Manuscripts

We accept the following categories of manuscripts:

  • Research Articles: Original research studies presenting significant scientific findings.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews summarizing current knowledge and recent advancements.
  • Mini Reviews: Focused reviews discussing emerging concepts and specialized topics.
  • Short Communications: Brief reports describing innovative research or preliminary findings.
  • Case Studies: Detailed clinical or practical reports relevant to healthcare and pharmaceutical sciences.
 
Submission Guidelines
  • Originality: Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
  • Peer Review: All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process to ensure scientific quality and integrity.
  • Format: Manuscripts should include Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
 
Publication Ethics

PCR strictly follows ethical publishing standards. Manuscripts involving plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or unethical research practices will be rejected immediately. Authors are expected to comply with international publication ethics guidelines.

 
ARTICLE FORMAT (Research Article, Review Article, Case Study & Short Communication)
  • Language: Manuscripts should be written in clear English (British or American) and submitted in MS Word format (.doc or .docx).
  • Page Setup / Font: Use A4 size paper with 1-inch margins on all sides, Times New Roman font, size 12.
  • Paragraph Formatting: Set paragraph spacing and indentation to 0 pt before and after.

1. TITLE PAGE
  • Title of the Manuscript: Clear, concise, and descriptive title.
  • Author Names and Affiliations: Include complete institutional affiliations of all authors.
  • Corresponding Author: Mention name, email address, and contact information.
 
2. ABSTRACT

The abstract should summarize objectives, methodology, major findings, and conclusions within 250 words.

 
3. KEYWORDS

Provide 3–6 relevant keywords for indexing and discoverability.

 
4. INTRODUCTION

Explain the background, research problem, objectives, and significance of the study.

 
5. MATERIALS AND METHODS

Describe study design, materials, experimental methods, instruments, and statistical analysis clearly.

 
6. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
  • Results: Present findings using tables, graphs, or figures where necessary.
  • Discussion: Interpret findings, compare with previous studies, and explain significance.
 
7. CONCLUSION

Summarize the important outcomes and implications of the study without repeating detailed data.

 
8. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Optional section to acknowledge funding agencies, contributors, or institutional support.

 
9. REFERENCES

All references should be accurate, relevant, and formatted according to the journal citation style.
